Premedia Operator is responsible for preparing files for offset and digital printing. This position would also run digital print jobs as needed. Shift is
Monday through Thursday second shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare files for Prinergy workflow.
• Create impositions using Preps imposition software.
• Set up graphic files for final print production (offset or digital).
• Responsible for plating and checking finished plates for errors.
• Create proofs (paper and PDF).
• Cross train to run Xerox Color Press as needed.
• Communicate file issues and recommend solutions.
• Make revisions to customer files (Color correction experience a plus)
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
• Minimum of four years' experience in offset prepress and digital printing
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Must be results-oriented and deadline-driven
• Demonstrate ability to be self-motivating and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Communicate effectively with management, co-workers and sales when required
• Flexible to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work in a team-environment
• Mailing experience desirable
