Hi,

I bought a Heidelberg Quickmaster and wondered if any one could tell me if the factory suggest pre inking the dampeners or not?

Thanks

Re: Heidelberg Quickmaster DDS

Yes you have to ink the water rollers. That is the only way it can carry water to the plate. Not too much just a good ink film will do. Set your metering roller to the lowest setting to start. If it is tinting turn it up a number or two. The less water you use the the faster you job will dry, and the color will be brighter. Hope this helps. Thumper
