Help with creating paper or board

I am new to Artios Cad. Can anyone explain to me what CRRV (caliper related rounding value) is and how it relates to the paper or board caliper ?
I checked with default settings in esko paper/board database for this CRRV value but I dont find out any clue on how this value to be determined.

I did search to clarify this term on esko website, the official definition given for this is "Rounding Value sets a value to which dimensions may be set to round to when constructing a corrugated design. It is more relevant for boards as a whole rather than individual papers." Saddly, I still dont understand how to set this value for creating a customized paper or board and how it is related to the caliper value.

Many thanks!!

This is Rounding Value!

From doc
Rounding Value: sets a value to which dimensions may be defined to round to when constructing a corrugated design, such as the nearest 1/64” (0.015625). This is variable CRRV in Advanced StyleMaker and can be used in the Round to: field when defining a new variable.

Correct, but how do you determine this rounding value for any particular paper?

For example, the following two paper defined in the database given:

1: Brown008 caliper: 0.008 rounding value: 0.03125
2: KL26 caliper: 0.008 rounding value: 0.015625

These two paper share same caliper but not the rounding value.

I understand this parameter is how much the system will trim the shelf to fit between the two bent sides that are thick. After all, when you bend it, it eats up about 1/2 of the thickness of the material.
You set the inside loss, the outside gain and, accordingly, the same should be the rounding of the sheet. 1/2 from caliper

But this is when running, if you use cutting or other types of bending on complex materials, this parameter may be different. It must be found out by experience and a microscope :)

I don't work in ArtiousCAD much, I work in Automation Engine
