How to? - Print Magnetic Business Cards

Hi Guys, another newb question.

let's say we printed about 100 12"x18 sheets of business cards on un-magnetized magnetic material. Question now - how to finish it? If we magnetize sheets they will stick all together and we wont be able to cut on a guillotine. If we cut first and then magnetize - we'll have to magnetize 1000's of pieces and still how to stack them for shipping? How are you guys doing this? Thanks

We print on regular coated stock than adhere it to adhesive backed magnetic media. We put about 3-4 sheets of scrap 12pt stock between the sheets and that gives enough separation between magnets to let us cut cards with the guillotine. Afterwards we pull out the scrap stock.

We run both sheeted pre-magnetized, and sheeted non-mag material (depending on print process used) Either way once magnetized we utilize slip sheets (poster stock) between mag sheets when sending to the knife for cutting. We also run magnetic business cards on our digital roll to roll press, which then get cut to size with a cylinder flex-steel die cutter and magnetized after cutting, then packed for shipping - no slip sheets necessary.
