HP Indigo Press Operator at Unleaded Communications in Houston, TX

Unleaded Communications is seeking a new team member to work as a part of our production team. The team member will be responsible for operating an HP Indigo 3550 or 5500 Press, which includes setting up and running HP Indigo equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment and file-to-print process. Candidate must be HP Certified and demonstrate proficiency with this equipment.
The position requires being active for the duration of the workday, a very careful hand and eye, and ability to self-regulate in an autonomous work environment. He may also be required to operate a small Polar cutter and perfect binding machine, packaging and shipping.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the set-up and operation of an HP Indigo Press
- Intermediate knowledge of pre-press workflow and file handling
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Physical stamina sufficient to stand during entire shift, excluding rest breaks
- Physical stamina sufficient to move and lift 55 pound boxes
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule either daytime or evenings and some weekends
- Must be HP Certified and demonstrate proficiency with an HP Indigo 5500 Press
