Illustrator file in Quark 7.3

I'm trying to get a simple file thru Quark.
It started with a green house with a leaf on top.
When I export out of Quark and distill it gives me errors.
I've tried everything. If I separate the two elements it worked once.
Now I've gone off into making two different elements and it won't go thru.
Any ideas?

open the illustrator file, copy paste to new document, resave as something else name, re-import into quark

what version illustrator are you running?

Save as an Illustrator 3.0 .eps and then try. I've had instances like this where if I save as an earlier version of Illy, it seems to work.
