We have a Kodak Nexpress, often times we laminate the product that comes off the machine. Our buyout vendor uses a thermal lam and in the past week we have had issues with delamination, it was on heavy coverage. It has been proposed that we should run the sheets that come off the Nexpress down one of our offset presses to put an AQ on the sheet, this suggestion was by the vendor. However we have run lots of jobs that got laminated in the past and we have not had an issue. We are wondering if the cause is the Nexpress or possibly the laminating vendor. Does anyone have some insight with this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
