Mimaki CJV30-160 - question before purchase

Hello to all,
I'm going to buy Mimaki CJV30-160 very soon. And I have one general question. What is the best to choose - 2xCMYK for faster printing or 1xCMYK + Light Cyan + Light Magenta + Light Yellow and Light Black for better quality? Is it worth to choose quality over speed ?

I don't have that machine, but you need to look at your market. For the most part CMYK will be more than good enough quality. Unless you are servicing a very fussy audience, I wouldn't bother with the extended colour range inks.
I have a 10 colour Epson and a 4 colour Mutoh. The Mutoh is used most of the time.

We've had our CJV30-160 for about 6 months and we just got done converting it from 8 color mode to 4 color mode. Like wildcatt said, it will depend on your customer's needs as which one to choose but the speed difference is unbelievable and the color difference between the two, to me, is negligible.
