We just had our PrintConsole workstation upgraded this week to Prinergy Evo 3.2.6.0 PrintConsole. We are not a prinergy shop but we drive 1-bit tiffs to our Magnus and use Prinergy Evo 3.2.6.0 PrintConsole to image plates.
The problem that I am having is that in the Process Viewer when I look at the jobs that are queued (Printing to Tiff device queue) there is not way to sort them by name or anything. None of the headers seem operational. We have the "Always hold new items" button checked and the queue not paused as we don't have autoloading on our platesetter and need to manually release them by set of plates. However we send tiffs over all day long and when they get into the "Queued Items" they do not list them in numerical order and then we have to hunt down and control+click each plate file for a particular job thru up to 100 tiffs at times.
Also another problem is that sometimes when we drop more than one tiff in to the hot folder at a time for Prinergy Evo, it will process the files but it will merge the file name of two plates together but list the individual color in the info column. Is there a way to set a delay in the polling period of the hot folder? Also we had one yesterday that was a 5 color job and combined three plates into one file which was actually pretty cool, sort of like how you used to be able to group files in the older PrintConsole. Does anyone know if there is a way to group these? See attached pics.
Does anyone have any idea what can be done?
thanks,
Dub
