Digital Sign Technologies—an inkjet pioneer—has released an update for their flagship Print Head Doctor machines. Designed to seamlessly clean any inkjet print head for 2D or 3D printers, the new PHD15 is controlled by a mobile app that runs complex, unattended cleaning programs.
Any of the Model 15 ports can switch between pressure & vacuum, enabling it to run complex recovery programs in a single set-up, cleaning a range of print heads, from Epson DX to Kyocera KJ4. Users can also create custom, remote recovery programs via the mobile app. According to the company, old print heads can be safely revived, extending their longevity, saving thousands of maintenance dollars.
