Plate emulsion color Failure of recognition

I am asking for some help or recommendation regarding the processing of Violet polymer plates
on Fuji Luxel VX9600. The unit has been calibrated by Fuji staff to process LP-NV plates.
We have tried to run a test with Agfa N91v. There is an Error message on the display. The plate is being forwarded to the online processor withoyt being exposed. On another unit with another software version the error message is specified as if the sensor cannot detect the plate edge. The slight deviation of the emulsion color between Agfa and Fuji plates may cause this. Is there a way to overcome this obstacle. Or is it inevitable to pay the amount Fuji staff wants to charge for a further plate set up.

Does the setup still work with the old plates? If so, it may well be something with the new plates. If not, it may be a faulty sensor. These things usually work on some kind of light blockage triggering the sensor, so a slightly different color shouldn't make that big of a hiccup. Ask the techs if this is possible.

Luxel sensors are factory adjusted for a specific type of plate. In theory the machine can be readjusted for another plate type but it's up to qualified field service engineers to do this. The question is will they do it ??
