I drag and drop files into Preps 5.3 daily with no problems. Perhaps you might have the wrong file type selected in the New Job setup.

I have the same problem. All of a sudden preps 5.3 and preps 7 does not accept drag and drop files anymore.

It works for me if I drag files to my desktop first then drop them into Prinergy.

My problem with drag and drop started with some updates of windows 7. I have restored win on date before the updates and I was able again to drag and drop. One week ago win again updated itself, but because i was on vacation, I didn't noticed it. And now I can't restore it anymore on date before updates. So I guess I am stuck with no drag and drop files.

You need to turn off UAC completely by modifying registry at this key.

Don't know which update of Windows cause this.
