Print Infrastructure Sizing

Hi. I am trying to arrive at a good sizing approach. Multi-function print vendors appear to rate a maximum monthly duty cycle as well as a recommended monthly duty cycle. The spread between the two numbers (in pages printed per month) seems to be an order of magnitude plus a multiplier.

I am looking to have some "science" as part of this effort and seem to be struggling with a methodology which can be used to estimate device sizing.

Any input or help on this?

Hi.

This would be laser based (or equivalent) technology. More specifically, it is multi-function (copy/scan/fax/print) devices used as end point printers by network users.
