Riso Error Code

This is my first post. I hope I'm in the right area. I have a Risograph RZ 390UI that I use primarily for printing #10 envelopes. It started showing an error code d-04-534. I was wandering if anyone has had any experience with this problem.

Errors d-04 usually have to do with the rf tag on the ink canister not being recognized by the machine. Did you put in a new tube of ink? If you use a generic brand sometimes the machine will not recognize the tag. Pull the rf tag off the old canister that worked and stick or tape it onto the new ink canister in place of the one that's on there. Hope that helps???
