RTI RIP and indesign

Windows/INDESIGN/RTI RIP/AGFA output

Question : RTI RIP After outputing .AI, PS file from INDESIGN (magenta only), launching RTI RIP, "print" the image shows in the "window" , progress bar and "timer" functioning, but set up manager is grayed out never get to "roam" or output film. "Newbie" asked to out put film in emergency situation, Not that familiar with "issues with RTI RIP, What am I missing? advice.

Sounds you have the device in the page setup set to PREVIEW (which will ROAM or preview the job in the window and therefore does not show up in the Active Queue). The other thing that may going wrong is when you click RIP - Print File from the drop down menu you have to be certain you select the appropriate page setup. If you select PRINT FILE and you have the DEFAULT PAGE SETUP selected you will just get a preview of the job (and the job will not show up in teh active queue).

Thanks Corey, Yup, The page set up was in default, not "composite" or "150, 3000" (print setup). Thanks for the scoop. much appreciated.
