The Sr. Marketing Specialist within the Production Printing Solutions (PPS) organization of Canon Solutions America (CSA) will lead marketing programs across the Americas driving production cutsheet monochrome toner and professional services programs and solutions to the market. This role will help drive production monochrome cutsheet and professional services products and services to market that successfully achieve targeted revenue, metrics, goals and objectives as designated.
Responsibilities include:
•Define, build and implement marketing plan and strategies driving Canon production monochrome cutsheet toner & professional services solutions to market.
•Deliver the 5 Ps of marketing: Product, Price, Place, Promotion and People.
•Management of new product introductions and product lifecycles for existing products through application of marketing principles including target market and application definition, sample kits, competitive analysis, population management and pricing.
•Develop and implement marketing initiatives and programs for multiple products, product groups or large-scale enterprise solutions and professional services.
•Identify new products and services that drive marketing strategies to promote sales
•Deliver prowess in applications across the commercial, book publishing, direct marketing and transactional segments.
•Ensure fast and accurate communication with field sales to support their sales activities
•Support sales function of the company
•Manage customer relations and specific customer relationship issues
•Provide consultation across our wide customer base on how we enable world-class solutions to drive business success for our customers
•Deliver product and end-to-end solution focused presentations to C-level participants within the Customer Experience Center.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or experience working in a directly related work environment.
•Minimum of 7 years professional experience in marketing, sales or solution management specifically focused on production solutions in the printing industry.
•Experience with applications in Graphic Arts (high-volume commercial printing and publishing) and Corporate Enterprise (direct mail and transactional) segments.
•Experience in a fast-paced, highly integrated environment is required.
•Effective leadership skills including, proven ability across business departments required.
•Able to be a change implementer
•Customer facing/interaction experience
•Within the Digital Printing Industry, demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in Digital technologies, software and professional services offerings.
•Strong business acumen
•Excellent project planning and organizational skills
•Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
•Ability to travel
•Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
•PowerPoint and Excel proficient
