We have an Epson 10600 that we have had for many years. It is starting to have head problems, cleaning is not working or takes way to long to get them cleaned again. Also some banding when printing a lot. We have had the heads looked at before and fixed, but are not really interested in putting money into this machine anymore.
We use this as a colour proofer (pleasing colours, not press calibrated) and for printing posters in various sizes. We do not print for outdoor use. We are using an 8mil photo satin paper that I am pleased with, colours look very very nice on it. Looking for something similar for our needs, would need it to be 44" wide. We do not use it a whole lot, but it is something we need to have. Is Epson the king of this market? Any model suggestions, recommendations or warnings from any model from any maker would be appreciated.
