CGS is a rapidly growing technology company in the graphic arts industry. We are an international company headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, selling Color Management Solutions throughout the America’s.
Do you have a passion for color management and making sure customers achieve the best results available in the printing world? Come manage and supervise our technical staff in the fulfillment, installation and support of CGS ORIS software and hardware. Areas of expertise should include Color Theory, how RIPs work, Proofing, Print Production, Workflow, Networking, Spectrophotometry, Database Management, Software Debugging, and Windows OS.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the CGS Service Team provides all of our customers with competent and professional service, resulting in 100% customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage the Technical Staff on a day-to-day basis
• Provide telephone, email and web-based support and training for ORIS software
• Assist in the preparation and approval of color matched proofs and sample requests per Sales and Dealer requests
• Further develop the CGS Service entity to create a greater revenue stream
• Implement and monitor a Red Flag List to identify high priority technical issues
• Review and create technical documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
• Five+ years of experience in Print Production or related fields with at least two years of technical experience in a supervisory or management capacity
• Ability to effectively communicate technical responses to a variety of audiences
• Demonstrated leadership ability involving the direct supervision of multiple individuals
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to hold self, others and team accountable for meeting performance expectations
• Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
