Next panel.... "Oh..... so you're sending the job overseas because they can do it for half price by means of currency manipulation, no emission standards and no wage standards?? Sorry to hear that. (phone hangs up)
Next panel.... "Looks like we're going to have to go ahead and shut the plant down, lay off all our people and sell our equipment to overseas exporters for pennies on the dollar"
Last Panel..... (Wakes up in bed next to wife out of a horrible dream) .... "I just had a horrible nightmare that Hillary won the election. Thank god that didn't happen!
By the way... we won that bid and got that big job in today .... Looks like we are going to be able to get through another Christmas without any layoffs."
Just like all those Carrier jobs that got saved.
Well, I'm sure Carrier will give back that $7 Million tax break they got to save those jobs.
In fairness to Trump... that deal was made WAAAYYYY before he was elected. Guess the Status Quo Group would be happy if more Americans were laid off?
Bottom line is, by every metric, the economy here is starting to pump thanks to the new policies..... How is that a bad thing?
So then why was Trump taking credit for the whole Carrier thing? The amount of lies and the level of hypocrisy is unbelievable...blatant, too! Sadly, it seems his supporters think he can do no wrong.
OH MY! Welcome to the forum. Came for the print, stayed for the politics. They are both equally as fun for me.
Trump can do NO wrong??? When was ANYBODY except a few right wingers ever critical of Obama or Hillary. You want to talk hypocrisy? It would take me hours to list all the scandals and dead people that surround them and CRICKETS from the MSM. I mean at the small end... she had Donna Brazille steal debate questions for her!!!! Can you even imagine if Trump did that???? WOW... the world news network would explode!!! Remember when he was on tape from 10 years ago talking to another guy IN PRIVATE and said "Grab that pu$$y"??? BILL CLINTON LITTERALLY HAD AN INTERN UNDER HIS DESK IN THE OVAL OFFICE!!!! and then LIED about it under oath!!! Just try to juxtapose the moral equivalency of those two things. "Depends on what your definition of IS IS" Remember that?
Trump seems to be able to do no wrong because all of the fake news stories from the Washington post, ny times and CNN all keep turning out to be made up lies. And according to Newsweek article today Trumps approval rating is HIGHER than Slick Willy Clinton at this point in his presidency.
People like Trump because he is a regular guy and not some sleazy politician. Fact is that if Trump had run as a Democrat.... and run on the EXACT SAME issues.... he still would have won and all the Dems would be standing up for everything he stands for just because he had a "D" next to his name rather than an "R". There are some great interview videos of college students by a group called campus reform that blatantly illustrate my point.
Here is a GREAT 5 minute video about the history of the democrat party by PragerU. Anybody who identifies as a dem should watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_a7dQXilCo
Also look into "Seth Rich".... the REAL DNC leaker.... not Russia.
Hahahah thanks for the welcome, Kringle! . As a matter of fact, I do love the forum for the great, insightful print related information. However, I have to admit that the reason I decided to sign up was to be able to respond to your comment(s). I have been lurking around long enough to know that you certainly aren't shy about sharing your opinions on politics.
A few things - first of all, I did not bring up Obama, Hillary or Bill Clinton at all. You did. I was only making a comment about Trump. I've noticed that every time someone citicizes Trump, his defenders will quickly jump to Hilary or Obama or anyone else, for that matter. "Can you even imagine if Trump did that????" Can YOU even imagine if Obama said or did any of the things Trump has said and done??? Seriously, what do you think would happen? But, again, I was only talking about your beloved, "regular guy" Trump. LOL, I can't believe you referred to him as a regular guy. Are you for real? That is just plain laughable. And sleazy? Yes, most definitely - unless you don't consider the "grab them by the p..." comment sleazy. Sure, sure, everything that contradicts or questions Trump is fake news lol. Where does he get his news from, exactly?
Finally, just so you know, I am neither Democrat nor Republican. I understand the frustration with the system and with politicians in general. But to see Trump and say, "yeah, that's the guy I want to be the next President of the U.S.", that's incredibly odd to me and wrong in so many ways. He is a liar, a hypocrite, wildly unqualified to be president, filled his cabinet with wall street people, appointed the worst possible people for leadership positions, has countless conflicts of interest, can't get off of Twitter, behaves like a 10 year old child...he's an embarrassment to this country.

I don't remember all your presidents, but he is not your first embarrassment: before him were at least Reagan and the pair of Bush's (especially Junior!!!)... so probably now US people begin to get used to embarrassing presidentshe's an embarrassment to this country.
There is something you should understand: the USA WERE a great country... but now with most of the jobs being outsourced to India/Asia to allow the shareholders to get more and more money, USA has become a poor country...*YES WE CAN BE GREAT*
