I'm currently running a Basysprint 1116F2 (VLF). I also have a Basysprint 57F. I'm looking for a backup to the VLF. I'm not locked into Basys for a backup, I might consider thermal or violet based on research and reader feedback. Bear in mind that the plate must be capable of appx. 350,000 impressions. Any ideas? Basys would be the logical choice....plug & play in my current config, however I don't know how long large format conventional plates will be around!
