Wide Format PAckaging

Looking for a site or link which provides helpful hints for packaging odd shaped large sheet type products typically produced in a Wide Format Shop. We are experiencing damage claims on items shipped via UPS & Fed Ex as well as a few LTL.
 
Try ordering a few pieces from signage print factories and see how they do it. I have successfully used plywood to protect large sheet goods. Another thought is using pallet corner protectors to reinforce cardboard boxes. What sizes are you shipping?
 
we use a variety of this type of packing. every job needs something unique it seems.
real bulky items go on a skid or in a crate and ship freight just to give them a chance of arriving unscathed.
