High Saturation from GMG

I am looking to achieve a very high level of saturation off my GMG color management device for output on the epson 9800. I understand that I need some kind of target and was told that the Japanese coat icc profile would give me a target that I'm look for. Would this target be the best one to use, or does any body have a better idea. This is to output short run signs directly off the epson plotter with as much vibrancy as possible.

Re: High Saturation from GMG

How about using a Photoproof profile (RGB .mx4). Should utilize the full gamut of the printer rather than restrict to a CMYK space.

Prophoto RGB… but then you ought to move to 16 bit

The ProPhoto is the "old" kodak Ektachrome space and would be a tree to bark up?
