Mactac has introduced a new, sustainable films product line: IMAGin Simply Sustainable. This new product line is PVC-free & consists of polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) films that meet current U.S. Consumer Product Safety & Improvement Act (CPSIA) regulatory standards.
IMAGin Simply Sustainable products are primarily designed for window & glass surfaces. The films are created with a unique polymer technology that delivers notable benefits over traditional static cling or similar PVC-based products.
IMAGin products can be applied using wet or dry application methods, function at a wide range of temperatures and are available in 54” widths. Mactac recommends customers contact their local waste management company to qualify products prior to recycling. The product line offers removable & permanent products, including:

- Crystal Cling (SS299)—A 4.0-mil gloss clear removable PET film. Compatible with UV & latex inkjet printers. Intended for short- to medium-term glass surface advertising.
- Print Friendly Opaque (SS129)—For medium-term advertising on glass surfaces. A 2.3-mil gloss white permanent block-out PP film can be printed with UV inkjet printers.
- White Magic Cling (SS99) & Clear Magic Cling (SS29)—Available in gloss white (SS99) or gloss clear (SS29), this 2.0-mil soft, flexible PP removable film is designed to cling to any smooth glass surface, including windows, office doors, display cases, beverage coolers, smooth, glossy plastic and shiny metal surfaces. Can be printed with conventional screen & offset, UV screen & offset, UV inkjet and latex printers.
