with preps 5.3 we were making low res links (eps) for use with Preps
Upgraded to Preps 6.2 it only works wtih PDFs. they can change the low res lnks to be pdfs but ti dosnt seem to be working with Nexus
Is anybody using Preps 6 wirh Nexus?

We were told Preps 6 can not run with nexus links and pages, we stayed with Preps 5.3. We have now upgraded to the Nexus PDF rip workflow.
We import pdf and print jdf out, but we are still using Preps 5.3 because Preps 6 do not give us the option to print individual spot color plates
that 5.3 does.

You can always use Shuttle to send the JDF to Nexus. When you do this, just make the "Include Ink" section of the nexus RIP a public parameter. Once you have done this, when you submit your JDF it will ask you what separations you wish to output. Not as simple as doing it in the older versions of preps but it works.
