    We have a Neopost machine, but it looks considerably different to yours. But you can always try the basics first, make sure all the rollers are clean, a clean rag damp with water will do the trick. Also make sure the envelopes are feeding straight.

    Why would you want to use a "coated" type stock for uncoated proofs? With Apogee and ColorTune, I use an "uncoated" (does have an inkjet coating) style of proofing paper that passes PSO Uncoated standards with some profiling. Looks great compared to uncoated press work.C/J HI-RES 90GSM 914X45

    Our 4300 does this as well. Usually after 30-40 plates in a row. It seems to be something overheating, tech thinks it's the "main" board. A 10-15 minute powered off rest fixes it for a while.

    Also check to make sure the bushes on the rollers haven't moved. I've had to push ours back into place a few times.

    You'll find that the font is not embedded and the job will fail when going through a rip. ;)

    Preps templates are just a text file. They will open in any text edit app. ;) The info inside them is not all that human friendly though...

    This is getting very OT, but it's just too labour intensive for a start. Reusing old Preps templates is so much faster. With Impose everything has to be remade everytime.

    I make my own using 2 different screen rulings. You've also got to get the percentages right, plus you can only use certain PMS colors. They usually have to contain a high amount of black. ;) ..
