Thank you both. The link looks like they have heavy (0.026" is pretty much 2pt) scores. The music wire is an awesome idea. Your method of mounting is exactly how we mount scores and perfs so nothing difficult there. Thanks again. =)

We do a lot of jobs that are too large for our letterpress and we have to outsource the scoring. I would love to score them on the press but the only scoring strips I can find are quite thin and the paper still cracks. Does anyone know of something similar to a 2pt round score for a press? It...

The first unit folds and perfs, the second folds on the pref and scores, the third does the final fold on the score. The problem is that when the paper is folded on the perf for the second fold the rollers aren't grabbing it right. The corner of the sheet that was folded in the first unit tucks...

We use Box of Tricks all the time. RGB gone is very handy. My only complaint about the greyscale conversion is the amount of gain on a PC. Converting all text to black is also nice. Especially for those documents where the black text is a mixture of auto, spot black, rich black, and real black.

I once had a client who thought the work was too dark (after approving a press proof) ask "Can't you just run it back through the press and take some ink off?" I was at a loss.
