We are looking for a media for our Epson 4800 that best simulates a Kodak Match Print proof. I am not sure if the kodak media will work with the Epson. The Epson Proofing Paper wasn't bright (blue) enough. We had the Epson calibrated and came within 95% accuracy when viewing the exact same file...

Do you all recommend using the "Let Postscript Printer determine color" setting as opposed to "Let Illustrator..." when printing to a rip? Thanks.

These are the only two brands I have first hand knowledge and experience with. Lately we are having some issues on the Oce flatbed, where we suspect it's overheating due possibly to an inadequate cooling system. It runs fine all day when night shift starts it begins to have some print failures...

Back when photoshop came with a printed manual they actually devoted afew pages to address this. They (Adobe) printed samples of something like 3x line screen, 2x line screen, 1.5x line screen etc. You could not see any image degradation above 1.5x line screen ruling.

We had the Anapurna XL. It is worth mentioning that as we are Canadian residents there may also be different price structures when comparing the Oce to the Agfa products. The main problem as I recall was tracking when trying to use the roll to roll feature. Because the media rides a conveyor...

that was not our experience. maybe we got a lemon. glad we unloaded it though. I'm quite certain it was more money than the Arizona 350 as well.

we've had the DP40 in our shop for about 2 yrs. For toners based CMYK I suppose it's pretty good. If you did decide to buy make sure you get a service plan as we have ongoing service issues. I'd have to ask the owner as to whether he'd buy this again however.

We had the Grand Sherpa and the Anapurna, they're both gone now. We replaced the Grand Sherpa with the Roland AJ1000 and the Anapurna with a couple of Oce Arizonas.

we had one in our plant and were not impressed. Look at the Oce Arizona 350 if you want white ink capabilities.
