Has anyone heard of cleaning numbers to make smaller files?

No idea they came from the client and I'm not going into 70 hi-rz images to look for data. I'm done playing with this one. I was just offering a suggestion. I don't know how this whole image thing became part of this thread. That was no where in the orig post, it was only about position.

Nope. These where all either tiffs or psd's. We are printing it offset on 24x36" sheet on a KBA.

Load of crap Load of crap It really all depends on how you export the file. I just had an InDesign file and links that came in at over 3gb, 28 pg book. When I did the job I used High Quality print, added bleeds and marks and unchecked compress text and line art. I got a pdf that is 28.6 mb...

Doesn't really help when you have full bleeds

Do not use the default crop mark setting in anything. Make sure to change it to a minimum of .125". Can't tell you how many times I've had to go through a PDF page by page and remove them.

InDesign Error- You may not have permission....

I alway do because I'm usually placing multiple page files. I just seems weird that all I have to do is cancel and do the exact same thing and it works.

InDesign Error- You may not have permission....

I've been had this same thing going on for over a year and am also looking for an answer. The odd thing is I'm the only one using the file and all I have to do is cancel and Import again and it finds it. That seems messed up to me.
