I used sleeking from Smartech Business Solutions with good results once I found the right settings (different for each colour). Not sure where you are located but they appear to be worldwide.

Not 100% sure, but there is a great trade printer in Australia called CMYKHub and they may ship to New Zealand. The only print for other printers...don't do any retail work.

Running Prinergy 10 on my Mac Mini M2 after upgrading to Sonoma with no issues. VPS is okay.

I have done the same, but the only real solution I can recommend is trapping on anything elements that need to touch each other. I did some business cards with full coverage and just some gold sleeking coming through. I had to apply about 0.5mm trapping to eliminate any white areas showing up.

You can turn the stitching off on the Duplo DBM150T so that it just folds but doesn't insert a staple. Still a lot of hand feeding for 30,000 though.

Exactly :) Only other thing I do is maybe compress the spine with the guillotine clamp if they are too springy.

The Duplo DBM150T has side jog and back jog. It's a really good machine for digital sized runs. I used to do 1000 book sized runs daily at my previous place of work. The registration and finish is perfect. And setting up for the run is very simple. Couldn't fault the Duplo.

We have moved to Connect Fonts by Extensis...kinda a newer version of Suitcase from the old days. Not perfect but it works.

If you have an older version of creative suite somewhere, you can just copy the pantone coated and uncoated files to the presest-->color books folder in the new app to get the old libraries.

I just use masking tape (a few layers) where matrix won't work. Just need to keep an eye on it and replace the masking tape from time to time.

There are finishers who have machines to apply peel & seal strips to prints....otherwise screen printers for re-moistenable as above.

Agree regarding the DBM150....my last position was as an all-rounder at a small family business and in 1 year there I would have finished thousands of booklets with only one breakdown. Had a pre-owned Duplo creaser as well for creasing the thicker covers. Printed the booklets on a KM and...
