I have been playing with this and I have sent you a couple of bug reports/suggestions by the inbuilt form but I haven't heard anything back and they are not fixed in the latest build.
1. Metric measurements seem to wildly off - on the impostition for example (it also happens on the booklets as...
We have now tried that and no dice! increased the width first then the side release at both extremes of the settings and no improvement (if anything worse)
I have even gone as far as attaching a spring on the clincher cross bar to the guard below to physically pull the clinchers loose but that...
Thanks for reminding me!
It plowed through 50ish 16pp booklets this morning that was 250gsm cover and 120gsm inners before starting to jam on them, the regular 16pp booklets that are 80gsm through out had no chance of getting through.
Tried all ways blank on top, on bottom and one in the...
Came in this morning to try this and the damn thing is working! it is slightly cooler today at only 24degrees which makes me think as it warms up (its meant to be the hottest day ever in the UK today) I bet there is problems again. Its definatley temp related some where, its just pinning down...
Thanks for replying.
The system switch is a Schurter TA45 ABCWFC00E2

P5 is the latching coming through terminal 23 which enables the switch to latch closed.
Everything seems to be...
Hi.
This is getting more weird as time goes on.
If I send it through 6 sheets of 80gsm paper that is blank they will staple and exit correctly all day, the minute I switch it to the actual printed books it fails! exact same paper etc the only difference is one is printed the other is...
So the book gets stapled and the pusher begins to push it but its like the stopper doesn't drop in time or the book is held somehow in the stitching area and it gets all crunched up as its forced into the exit shute. The thinner the book the worse it is because it has no weight or stiffness to...
We actually thought it was the stopper that was the problem, but we have replaced the selinoid that controls it and ensured its well oiled and to the best of our experiance its certainly free. It definatly is weather/usage dependant as the longer/harder its used the more likely it is to play...
It must be my week for breakdowns!
The booklet maker can run fine for hours on end with no problem but then randomly start failing to eject the booklet from the stitching area, the staple are well formed and not deformed - its almost like something is sticking and keeping hold of the booklet...
Hi.
I have a morgana FRN that has just stopped working - with help from the service manual we have narrowed it down to the System Switch - anyone brighter than me decipher the wiring diagram and tell me which wires to jump to prove the switch before I spend £200 on the switch.
I have attached...
I have a fuji ec1100 - basically a xerox 4100 and generally love it with all normal problems with btrs etc. Fuji service is great and when reporting a problems I stay away from the phone line as the call centre where ever they are based are useless and just email the uk service and they sort...
Hi.
No problems sharing at all. We got it through JetTech, they not fuji direct but are fuji adjacent! Toner etc is ordered through them and I get a pallet delivered every month if required. Faults go to fuji direct.
I do wish I held off for 6 months as the new machines have come out which...
Im on 2.5p per click colour which compares well to what xerox were charging and I got what I consider a good deal on the machine as they are trying hard to get xerox machines out.
I have a fuji ec1100 and have had so far excellent service. I dont have any engineers near me (xerox were the same) so I am next day service but they are there 9am and dont leave until its resolved. No problem with spares etc and if it requires a call back due to something broken its always on...
Cheers.
I did actually look at printers plan but their lack of prices transparency put me right off. Even if they do not give an actual price on the website its not difficult to put a base price up and then say that add on modules are charged extra.
Rightly or wrongly that absolutely drives...
