    C6501 Issues

If it were me, I would go with the Xerox 260. We looked at the KM line but the color was not up to snuff. It was a great machine from the standpoint it could handle alot of stocks and you could add a bunch of finishing features. But the Xerox blew the color out of the water and their service...

What is a good water system for Ryobi 3302

Grafika- I agree with all of the previous answers. We had a 3302 with Crestline and never had problems and never had to swap out the rollers every year like some folks. I also have a hamada 660 and 665. One with Kompac and one with Moleten system. I think the Kompac is more user friendly but...

    MAC disk issue

Sounds like your HD has gone bad. For the price of drives these days and the ease of replacement, I would just put a new drive in. But thats just my opinion.

Open boxes showing up in random places

I will post a reply in a bit. The file was created in CS3 and we placed the pdfs into Indesign(CS3) and printed that way.

Open boxes showing up in random places

Okay, I'm stumped on this one. We are printing a file in which we get random open boxes in the middle of text(Helvetica) throughout a print job. We had this problem last year and assumed it was a problem with the from end RIP(Splash). This year we are running it on a different machine and...

    Splash problems everywhere

I would not recommend the Splash. And that's coming from a guy who repairs Apple products for a part time job. I THOUGHT it would be better, but I was mistaken. All the Splash is is an interface for the bustled Fiery. So you end up sending it through two rips. The good news with that is, if the...

Blurry and Fuzzy Text on Creo Spire 260

Has anybody had this problem with their Creo. We JUST got this installed yesterday and all of our text is printing fuzzy. We are printing from Macs and have tried different software/OS/Machines/Files. Anybody ever had this problem? I am starting to wonder if I should go back and have the Fiery...

    Inexpensive Web2Print Program

I just came back from a conference at Xerox and all of the other printers there talked alot about their Web2Print solution. They of course recommended purchasing one outright because the overall cost is lower, but they were all significantly larger shops. I am looking for a real basic solution...

My print job smells like ink

My father is an mechanical engineer and they have a variation on that same phrase. "There are three ways you can have something, Good, Fast and Cheap. You only get two of the three"

    Konica Minolta 6500 - Thoughts

Just a warning. Do not get the Oce equivalent of the KM6500. They do not stand behind there service or their products. Oce has totally left us on our own with a crappy B/W machine and has not offered to do anything about it. It does not live up to specs or service response times. I thought the...
