Minty fresh imagesetters sound delightful. One thing I discovered is upon putting the dirty film through the processor again that the spots on the film actually developed into full density emulsion. I'm thinking algae doesn't normally develop. It maybe the emulsion is not rinsing away properly?

Did the drive come with setup disks? Could always try reinstalling drivers if it had any. Was the drive working before? Is it possible to connect it to a second machine and see if it mounts?

Re: Plastic frames for posters We've actually have offered this service for quite a few years ourself. We have a table device to crimp and cut the framing to size. We do maybe half a dozen projects a year if that. It's neat stuff but most of our clients prefer their finished pieces without it.
