Do any of you 1175 users have any experience with this error? Printware is closed today and my tech is on vacation. Of course we are booked to the max with orders. What I have tried:
Re-seat all inks.
Total shut down and restart. RasPi too.
Replace all inks.
UPDATE: Replaced all the inks again...
I have current PTSD with our C6100 and C14000 (the 14000 is down a LOT more often). The techs are great but they don't have enough of them to accommodate the down-time. It may be different in your neck of the woods.
The Printect Cockpit outputs PMS as CP colors. I just changed an order to C and it did make a difference but still needed quite a bit of adjustment. Of course I am dealing with a blue color (PANTONE 2945 C). It just can't get bright enough and looks washed out compared to the offset sample I am...
The envelopes are not as bright as the belt but they are still blue. The sensor doesn't see most of them. I know it's a reach but is there any adjustment that can solve this?
SOLVED: The "teach" button took care of this.
Does thing ring any bells with you other 1175 users? I have a large remit order that is K/K and it wants to use all the inks for some reason. Solid K is just K but halftones and K percentages are a CMYK build for some reason. Checking and unchecking the preserve 100% black has no effect. Thank...
The reaction they are getting from Xerox matches exactly my experience when I used to operate Xerox boxes years ago. Exceedingly frustrating I got one of my directors involved and that got the ball rolling and eventually the entire machine was replaced and wow what a difference the new machine...
This has been slightly infuriating and I am wondering if this is just a thing with these or am I special.
If I get it printing within a few seconds all is good but going 30 seconds or more and the count resets to from 2449 of 5000 to 0 of 5000.
All you can do is create a paper/alignment profile for that particular substrate. If it's still goofy, call your tech and ask the question. Assuming you have a service contract.
Back when I was operating a V180, It was the same as you are describing. The margins were never equal. I always just shrank the art to match that larger margin and all was fine.
