im starting to think blanket wash/water is dripping out of spray bar for roller wash-up.Eventually the tonin/scumming goes away.Perhaps the unaffected plate surface is better prepared to repel ink after 2 wash cycles.I'll keep thinkin on this. mike

have you checked for any problems with your cloth plate cleaner and vacuum heads?

Greetings all, I'm looking for info on how to properly adjust the blanket washing device for a 3404DI, specifically tower 1.Recently replaced brass bushings on ends of meter roller and cannot get tower 1 washer set just right.Adjusted tower 2 no problems,must be missing something......... Mikem

The pm46 is/was available from heidelberg as a 1-color machine......not sure if Baum will bother with the 1-colors,not much demand.Has anyone seen the baum- assembled pm46-2 yet?If so any thoughts as to quality and reliability? mike

The 3302 is great machine but it will not beat a printmaster for productivity and quality.The printmaster will run ncr at 9500+ an hour for half a shift and then lay down beautiful solids and screens on 130# cover for the most ballbustin clients you can think of.But.....theres always a but...you...

i think happyprinter is pointing you in the right direction....also be sure your forms are shimmed tight in the journals.....DI printing is quite a journey eh? mikem
