    X-rite 500 series for parts

Any more information on the 528? Is it still for sale? Any factory warranty left? What year was it made? If still for sale can you send me the serial number in a PM?

URGENT - Jammed Akiyama w/ Paper stuck under the transfer cylinder

Find the skinniest person in the shop and send him or her under there. We have the same problem with our Shinohara 74VP. Dropped sheets over time will build up and then add little scuffs or marks. If the paper is stuck in the press water helps break it down so you can pull it out easier. Good Luck

    Proofer Recommendations

We also use Epsons for our contract proofs and for a backed up proof. The two main problems that we have are that the heads need to be cleaned quite often and it is hard to get proofs to back up correctly. If we have a proof that needs to be perfect on back up we will print two proofs and then...

    Hickeys

THe first thing I would check is the ink roller train to make sure you do not have a roller going bad, or one out of adjustment that is building up ink. Are you running the same color in that unit? Could it be a bad batch of ink that did not get a good grind? Tack to high? have you tried...
