hi community. im still not really comfy with my phasers color output. the quality with EFI was better.. but EFI is too slow= unsable. with oris CGS.. its never consistence.. printing pdfs sucks.. embedded profiles etc. now printing from acrobat i chose my self made profile.. but colors look...

i could never get the spotcolors to match with CGS.. when i use the optimization i can go for 3 or 4 prints and messure with i1.. nothin changes.. EFI does a perfect job on spotcolors..

thanks mr.. totally makes sense! two things from my point.. CGS uses the contone driver with HP.. so i dont have to reduce ink limits at all. if i crop densities (even by lab) i get a lot smaller gamut.. specially in the dark blue. i have the feeling that this is then that the contone doesnt...

hi everyone, i would like to use my own media with my Z3200 and oris... therefore i tried to set up a reference printer numerous times. i print a lin.. measure it.. set the max density a little less.. do another lin.. save it.. then print an it87.4 chart and build a beautiful reference printer...

hi folks, it says in the manual that you can verify the spotcolors of a proof. i dont see how though? i can set up in certified proof tool the spotcolors and save the defaults but im missing the part where i can actually create a wedge for my measurement device? any help is apreciated

morning. im still looking for a cxf file of the pantone plus coated book. i need this for colorgate in the version 1 of cxf. pantone manager only exports version 3 of cxf that colorgate cant read. its supposed to come with the i1.. as i still use my DTP70.. maybe someone can send me those?

i have read all sorts of posts about THE ink limiting for each channel. i would just like to get some things straight and understand the WHY behind it.. my RIP prints out a swatch with 7 inks from 0-100 percent.. lets take the cyan f.e... i can visibly see the 100% patch is the darkest and...
