Go to about 8" then hold the forward key. BG should move in very slow mode as it doesnt know where it is. Then about 5" it should preset. If you have the book do the 55 master reset. It wipes out your programs but it gets you running again
Are you in the USA? Do you have a photo or part number? I know they updated some of the sensors with different sensor kits as the sensor was discontinued.
Duplo has discontinued the 5000 booklet maker so your 1 part out of the junk pile. The DBM600 and the 10/60 tower with the envelope kit will do what you need. problem is when you feed envelopes they want to feed with the sheets and then get cut up with trimming.
so i have a old model 20 cutter that wont cycle when the buttons are pressed. but when the clamp drifts down the pump will power it back up but again wont cycle. its ready for the trash if we cant fix it. no help from challenge as its too old but it has the same pump system as the titans.
download the cd onto a thumb drive and then onto the laptop. Dont go too far in versions as you will then need to upgrade the software in the machine. Stick to the basics. Most times the update changes little things you'd never have a issue with.
FYI the board and motor are very expensive. I dont get why it stops/ starts like it does. switching the motors is just the 3 cable assemblies. you dont need to switch the actual motor just yet.
when you stop it the motor does run for a bit if i remember its not a instant stop.
that error looks like a motor error for either the creaser bar or drive belts. Check the pullies for a loose set screw or missing teeth in the cog belt. With the covers off the fold blades should function back n forth smoothly. Leave them out of place and make sure they return home upon start...
Everything has a home position for setup. Maybe the belts that drive the fold guides have some slop in them allowing to vary the stop position. Is the feed tray square to the score rollers? Or the feed guides?
It could be dis continued via Duplo and some companies dont want to take on that equipment. I know the 120 has been and lots of parts you need you cant get.
Thinking on the style of police ticketing booklets. Had like 50 sets and a wrap around minilla tag sheet that separated the form from the others and gave them a writing surface. Oh and the chip board on the bottom for stiffness. Remember trying to staple 3/4"+ booklets!!!
