    Duplo DC 616

Just curious if you were able to find the counts. Duplo gives it an average lifespan of about 1 million sheets of 230 g paper since most people run heavier than that I usually go by 750,000 gives you a ballpark of when your cutter blade and/or slitter blades are getting towards the end of the...

    Duplo 645 cutter/slitter/creasor

If they sent you the software and you download it onto your computer when you get to the end of The install go back and install the drivers power the computer down and machine plug in the communication cable and then turn everything back on and it should communicate together. The software is...

    Duplo DC-646 v Duplo DC-618

No not the whole machine just the rollers. The rollers wear out from the far side to the operator side about 12 or 13 in depending on the width of the sheet. They are a soft roller they're made to help get rid of the static.

Methods for reducing static on Duplo 646

As others have mentioned about static tinsel. Make SURE it screwed onto bare metal. Also use that big side guide as it keeps all the front air inside the pile rather than letting it escape out the sides. Then that smaller guide with the slide part. Use that at the tail end to hold back the...

    Duplo DC-646 v Duplo DC-618

I had one customer that was told to rotate the rollers end for end. Gets a little more life from them. But is it worth it? Ya $200 each roller. Ive been finding 750-1 million sheets is about the max before everything is worn out. Spec at 1 million of 230gsm stock.

    Duplo 645 slitter issues

they need to be flat to flat. You might gently pry apart heads and push blade over. How ever if they are worn the blades just barely overlap and it will do it again.

    Duplo 618 blade replacement

What we found was if you replace the cutting unit the motor was worn too. Few months later motor needed replacement so Duplo sells it as a unit now. Yes pricy. Is it worth it to remove everything just to send the blade to the grinder? We tried it on the 645 cutter and it didnt last long. Maybe...

    Chandler & Price Co. Cutter

Yes old guy here. I found the same issue years ago. Older guy told me the weight of the clamp and your tightening is magnified so getting it loose to raise takes more of a effort.

    Duplo 618 Paper Guides

If you guide leans in and binds paper try turning it around so it angles out. Or just bent the guide. I agree they cant bind or you get feeding issues.

    Duplo 350i booklet maker

So a feeder into the SCC then booklet maker with trimmer? Why not let the trimmer do a face trim? Or if the covers are oversized the SCC can trim all 4 sides but leave the head/tail a slight bigger and trim on the trimmer as a complete booklet.

Hohner 48/5 S Stitcher Head question

Refurbished is usually completely torn down cleaned and rebuilt. Worn parts are usually replaced if needed. Hohner heads last much longer than the old Interlake heads.
