    Champion 305CDC guide travel

It's the encoder. If you have the original equipment they are no longer made. Been there, done that. The only solution and it ain't cheap is a computerized aftermarket setup called a Microcut. I have one and I've already had to replace the encoder on it so my machine is probably around the same...

    Good short-run CTP

VIM Plates and equipment VIM Plates and equipment I've got experience with Xante (started with their Platemaker 2, upgraded to Platemaker 3). I also had two versions of Jetplate, including the 7600 version. I now have a VIM system using an Epson 7900. Wish I'd bought the larger machine. I...

    JetPlate Issues

VIM Plates VIM Plates I have invested in an Epson 7900 and am now using the VIM metal plates. I'm waiting for the polyester but I'm assuming they'll work as well as the metal. The big advantage to this system is there is no developer or brush in the processor. The processor is just heat...

I just spoke to Mike at Xpressjet because I needed to order some maint fluid and I wanted to know what the future holds re: the Craftsman plates. I've been trying to talk myself into buying a new system to replace the Jetplate and I AM SO GLAD I TALKED TO HIM. They have a new plate available...

    Tango By Dotworks-Should G & J be concerned?

I am a Jetplate 7600 user and I was directed by Jetplate before they belly-upped to go to Dotworks for plates. They have a new machine that doesn't even show up in their website called the Tango. It uses the Epson just like Glunz and Jensen but instead of a conveyer belt with a gum fluid it...

    JetPlate Issues

I don't know what the future holds but Dotworks has (had?) Craftsman compatible plates available as recently as September. They are also marketing a new machine called Tango that also uses the Epson engine. I'll post a separate thread to see if anyone has any knowledge about it.
