Creating profile with i1iO and iProfiler

So I compared the charts, your new one has 1632 squares but the Original has 1617. The mirrored one has 15 "white" squares, will that affect the overall reading?

You are the best! Works like a charm (so far). Any luck trying to do a P2P25X for me mirrored? We are getting ready to purchase Curve 4 with VPR so I want to make sure it all works for us before we start making charts.

Ok, I tried putting it into the workflow folder. Not sure if using OS X makes a difference or not. Are you using Windows? I tried loading it manually in the reference charts to. I'll keep tinkering, but I really appreciate your help!

Creating profile with i1iO and iProfiler

Looking for help with i1iO to read the TC1617 (IT8-7.5) chart but in reverse. Printing flexo wide web, surface and reverse print and I would like to make a curve and profile for both types of printing (but only make surface plates), except we can't fool the i1iO to read the chart in reverse...

    Dirty print on some edges

Hi, What does the plate look like, could you provide us an image of that? If you burned the same plate again do you produce the same result on press? Looks like something is happening with the ink not drying properly and you have some HD dots bridging at the end. What kind of press are you...

True 0.4% highlight dot in flexo printed clear poly? Sure we can do that!

HI Dersu, Do you know what kind of anilox line screen and what type of tape you use primarily on your print runs? Also what was your deciding factor on going with the DPR plate? Do you have any info on the kind of density you were getting as well?

True 0.4% highlight dot in flexo printed clear poly? Sure we can do that!

Good to hear, do you have any other info on the run? Machine, tape, anilox, speed etc. Regarding Gordo's post below, was this ripped at 4000dpi which would make this an even smaller dot of about 12 microns? Correct me if I'm wrong, quick math.

True 0.4% highlight dot in flexo printed clear poly? Sure we can do that!

Hi Stephen, At what % on your scales do you start seeing a more solid highlight dot or less halo'ing? That is a complaint i've heard about the NX plate is the highlights aren't improving, just the SID's.

    HD Flexo blues

You're right, the Doe's wont see the difference. But we see the benefits with our customers. Some you don't and I really think its up to you on how you market HD. We service a number of clients who demand it, others, don't know much about it still want it and butcher it and complain about the...

    Future of printing industry ?

I have been thinking this a lot lately too. The flexo industry, thanks to packaging is keeping us busy. But it only takes about $1.5 mill or less to install your own plate making system these days from Dupont so it's a good investment for big film convertors and laminators who spend about $2...
