RICOH Pro 9200 VS KM accuriopress C6100

What did you do? I am curious as I have a C6100 and want to know if fuser is going to be a problem for me. Most of my minoltas have been pretty good.

Experience with Konica Minolta PB 503 perfect binding unit?

We have one and our service guy visits often. Recently had the glue tank break and it took 9 months for service idiots to figure out how to fix it. Luckily I had a spare PB binder and borrowed the glue tank from it.

    Battle of the 400

I came across this article: Konica vs Ricoh: A Drastic Difference Between Costs It's got me thinking. Not sure if this is sales man doubts trying to sell their equipment or if this is something true. I do know that ultimately I would love a machine that was self serviceable. Not requiring...

    Battle of the 400

I have been trying to read reviews of the various machines capable of 400+ gsm. Can anyone give any anecdotal experience with their machines when running 350+ gsm stock consistently? I have spent years shoving heavy stocks that were beyond capacity of my machines to the point I bought an Oki...

    Cheap web to print system

Maybe I am mistaken but I feel most of these companies are ripping companies off. In some cases it makes sense when they are doing 7+ figures of business online and need a much higher level of service and support. I am looking for something more entry level until I get to that point.

    Cheap web to print system

So far the cheapest solution I have found is goprint2. But their solution is running $50/mo. I was hoping to find something $20/mo or less.

    Konica Hikari/AccurioFlux VS Fiery

That's disappointing, I was hoping after 10+ years they would improve durability of the unit. I imagine it would go against their interest. What part is the most expensive to replace/fix? Years ago there was issues with fiery controllers failing, I imagine that is not common anymore. The...

    Flawless BW production printer

Is there such a thing as BW production printer that can print day and night and not need a service technician, just toner and replenishment of wearable parts? I imagine with one toner/fuser less can go wrong. Looking for something that is least headache but prints forever using cheap toner. I...

    Konica Hikari/AccurioFlux VS Fiery

Thanks. How long do you think the C6100 will last in terms of impressions? The figure I heard for C6000 was 8M. Can the C6100 do much more considering its monthly duty cycle is much, much higher -2M/month? If it did 2M per month for 3 years thats 72M impressions.

    Konica Hikari/AccurioFlux VS Fiery

What OS does KM controller use? Linux? Somehow windows 10 scares me. If it was XP or windows 7 I would be less bothered. 10 years from now I don't know how well windows 10 is going to fare.

    Konica Hikari/AccurioFlux VS Fiery

It's not really used. It's sold by the The world's ONLY Fiery-DIRECT Server Controller Solutions and Repair. It's made to order and comes with lifetime guarantee. Now, whether its used or new is not important to me. What is important to me is I don't buy the wrong one. I dont want to be...

So You Want to Invest In Inkjet

I Want to Invest in Inkjet, But…
Over the past few years I’ve watched a group of transactional and direct mail printers strategically shift from monochrome toner machines to full-color toner and inkjet presses. Most banished old black-only toner boxes but kept their color toner devices around because they anticipated needing both color inkjet and toner presses to meet customer needs. They were right then and continue to be right today. Because toner and inkjet can be better together. Read the Post
