Is it possible to use both a rubber plate with a photopolymer flexo plate for separate parts of one image/press run? printing direct on corrugated.

Why would photopolymer plates for direct print to corrugated be more expensive than litho/offset plates? "I'm not really a printer, I just play one on TV."

Reprinting is NOT an option for this customer due to their time constraints on the project.

It is most definitely NOT the customers fault AT ALL. It was the pressman's fault, he did a poor job and will be told so. In fact, the customer pointed out the issues on the proof and the piece was still wrong. Does anyone reimburse more than 20%, if it is a low cost job? Still offset, just not...

Question for everyone: how much of a credit do you feel is fair to give a customer for poor printing quality that is your fault?

Rethinking the color....that is pretty extreme. That being said, can you tell me which base colors are better than others in the bluish-purple family? How about Pantone Blue 072 or Violet? How can I calculate a DeltaE number??? If I can get mine in the 0-4 range I'm sure I will be more than happy!
