    Inline score and fold

Technifold has greatly improved our scoring and slitting abilities on our MBO'S. It will never do what a letterpress score can do but for 90% of your everyday score and fold jobs it works great!

    Foil stamp over Softfeel AQ

Has anyone tried foil stamping over softfeel coating? We've done many softfeel jobs with good results but have an inquiry about foil....any suggestions?

We've done softfeel aq with no problems but now have an inquiry about foil stamping on top of it. Any thoughts?

Magenta ink on a komori press

Paper whiteness could be a factor in achieving the red you're looking for....test a few sheets. We have substituted rhodamine for magenta on a few jobs to get a pms build, works great but can get you into trouble with fleshtones if you push things.

    Soft Touch (feel) Aqueous Coating

Soft Touch is delicate in nature and won't stand up to a lot of handling but the double hit improves the feel dramatically.

    AQ low level drum sensor

I'm looking for a drum sensor that bungy cords around a 55 gallon drum and trips off a flashing light when it senses the low level. I used to have one at my old place and can't seem to find one.

    Ryobi or Hamada

The Ryobi 522 hx 14 x 20 is a great small format press. Fast make readies...great feeder....pull guide....easy to run and keep clean. I ran 4c process on it for 2 years with great results.

    Soft Touch (feel) Aqueous Coating

We also have had better luck with the Wikoff and a smaller bcm. We tried a few different brands and a larger bcm with poor results. The Wikoff with a double hit gave us a really nice velvety feel and held up pretty well through the bindery.
