256 is as high as it goes. I did demo the machine. It did that fine. but honestly in todays market in my opinion its not enough. 300 gsm is the minimum that I would accept at this point.

Konica C8000 review and Please HELP!!!!

Haha, I ask myself that every day these days. It has progressively gotten worse. The big issues started about 3 months ago. KM has worked hard to fix them, but it has turned into a game of wack-a-mole. One thing fixed, another wrong.

Konica C8000 review and Please HELP!!!!

Ok, its been a while since I've commented. We are trying to be patient with Konica. They continue to promise we the machine will run. Its a joke at this point. We're done. I haven't been 100% operational in a about 3 weeks. Scratches, magnification, registration, skew. This is simply...

Digital Booklets - Inline or Offline

Their is no inline that I am aware of/can afford that can do a 3 side book trim. My goal would be to print uncollated sigs. Then using a tower collater/folder/end trimmer combo, create booklets. I just envision this being cheaper for 2 reasons. 1. We do some 1/2 size booklets now that...

Digital Booklets - Inline or Offline

Well, we are not going to be gearing up to do fold, collate, stitch. I'm thinking 1-2 tower collator/stitcher/trimmer.
