Best Synthetic Paper for Ricoh Pro C7200S?

Xerox operator here- I have had to make transfer voltage adjustments of up to 60% to get some synthetic stocks to look good.

    KM 14000 sheet size

I have not worked with KM equipment, however something to consider is that the press may consider paper not arriving at a sensor when it should a jam (either getting there too fast or too slow). Here are some experiments 1) make sure that the media is cut exactly to the size specified 2) Test...

Quick and easy colour calibration for SwissQ?

Take a look and Print Factory if your pain point is profiling. I was really impressed chatting with them at Printing United. I'm planning to switch from Onyx. Signs101.com is more wide-format oriented than this forum. Also consider reaching out to SwissQ support for guidance.

Vaping Labels - Epson just doesn't do me justice! Help required

This guy used to use Affinia label printers, but outgrew them and upgraded to a $200,000USD Konica press. I'd email him and see if he could give you guidance for free or for a consulting fee. I I think he has videos with the affinia printers in action. https://www.youtube.com/@printshoptalk

How Much Are You Paying for 20# White

US Pacific Northwest. We don't use a lot of 20#/75gsm, so we just grab a few cases from Costco when needed. Currently $43/case for 8.5x11.

Vaping Labels - Epson just doesn't do me justice! Help required

First thing I'd do is a cost/benefit analysis of your employee time, floor space, material, ink, and amortized machine cost vs paying a label company with $$$ in press investment and big economies of scale to make the labels for you.

    Letterpress genius sought

I know a press operator who is about to retire to Vegas in January. His shop doesn't do a lot of foil, but he has decades of experience with presses and bindery equipment, and solid soft skills (teamwork, communication, good attitude). If you PM me your contact info, I can pass it on to him.

Printer for rapidly growing (art) stationery business

I don't have an other suggestion pertinent to your price range and volume. Getting good ink cost, media cost, image quality, and wide media compatibility, and scratch resistance means getting a toner* printer, and you're looking at 20,000 to 100,000. That is why outsourcing and buying a few...

Printer for rapidly growing (art) stationery business

You should do the cost benefit of print outsourcing vs in house at your current volume and future growth volumes (1000, 5000, 20,000 sheets) before making a printer investment. That being said, an Epson P5000 series would give you the best image quality and media flexibility in your price range...

So... I knew I was going to regret it!

The V3100 is end of parts and support in 2025 if I recall...double check on that before making the purchase. The major print engine parts are easy to replace so you could hoard spares and do your own service after EOL. You'd need a bunch of 2nd BTRs, fusers, developer, developer housings, IBT...

So... I knew I was going to regret it!

Not me, but a buddy relayed this for Xerox support and supplies apathy when it was really bad in 2021. Get a supervisor on the phone. Politely ask them their name "because our lawyer asked us to keep track". He was getting burned worse than me and the "L" word was a big help.

Can someone recommend a US supplier for guillotine blades? I have a Challenge Titan 200.

So... I knew I was going to regret it!

My experience with Xerox is great right now because their supply chain is stable and I have great techs. This status is a 180 from 2019-2021, and subject to change without notice. I'm considering switching to Fujiflim if they go forward with their customer self-repair program.

Older wide format to get into photograph printing? 60" HP Z6100?

You'll need to drop a few thousand on RIP software or $100-$200/month for subscription. Vendors to look at are Print Factory, Caldera, EFI, Onyx. I'd recommend getting an Epson P series for photos and they are easy to find used and have much wider paper compatibility.

    Recommended press/finishing for playing/trading cards?

Great Western Ink is a US Duplo dealer and they have a fantastic Duplo tech.

I have Xerox Versant 2100 for 4 Month i have this issu when i printing Background come with Bands and line as this sample 50% of 4 color

You could try a density/uniformity adjustment. I'm guessing that the press needs new developer and maybe new developer housings to address the vertical artifacts. The horizontal lines appear to be a scratch on a belt, messed up roller, or a piece of debris in the paper path.
