    Embossing on Heidelberg Cylinder

Too complicated. I think you would need a flexible counter for the cylinder, which I don't see available so you would have to go old school and create in on press which is unrealistic for your first counter. (It's a chore on a platen press. On a cylinder it might be considered crazy.) Look up...

Mysterious Blanket Scum & Possible Solenoid Problem?

Problem 2 - plate only goes to blanket while paper is is being fed. The amount of ink in the non paper area looks excessive to me. Change developer or increase the plate development time.

    Hotfoil issue

You need to "makeready" the areas not imaging/foiling. Assuming your are using a phenolic board place some thin packing (plate tissue or packing about .002") under the phenolic in the necessary area(s). Add more as needed.

    Numbering a print job

I had several csv files for cut & stack layouts but it you can omit data merge pretty often. Create a multiple page (100, 500, whatever is the final qty) doc. Use auto page number character on the parent page, define the start number from the page panel. Impose at the RIP/CWS.

Do I have to laminate both sides for folds

IMHO lamination kills any ability to fold up nicely. A project like this will require a cutting die which will include any necessary crease rules. A flood varnish or UV coat will enhance and protect the piece.

How to Embossing on an Offset Press

Actually the cylinder layout improves tonnage. Think of surface area. Only one axis is in contact pressure as opposed to the entire square image area of platen.

    AB Dick 9910XCS & T-51 Issue

As I recall the T-51 sits on a bracket with three bolts. Those should be loosened than adjust the side turnbuckles for overall pressure and side to side stripe. Snug the lower bolts and recheck.

Copy / Paste - getting hyphenated words

Para Style New document has vanilla/no style applied. Hyphenation is normal and in use. Pasted text respects document style set. Source doc has "No Hyphenation" set, respected when pasted to page 3. You could look at the styles and set same in new doc; load styles from source to new or paste...
