Canada hits back at U.S. with dollar-for-dollar tariffs

Mass produced toilet paper, three ply with the little nubbins, is in my humble opinion one of mankind´s greatest inventions, to deny it to somebody is a crime against humanity.

Questions about color management hardware and software

That is all nice in theory and I expect that a small handful of customers will actually be able to understand the ramifications of 12647 without their brains laminating over, but for Sally Ramsbottom who is in charge of the church flyers you will simply get a glazed look of incomprehension...

Linerize or not to Linerize plates... that is the question

With processless plates becoming more and more prevalent a two curve solution with a plate curve and a press curve is difficult if not impossible to implement in any meaningful way. In this case I would say that if the optical output of the CTP is within tolerance I would rely on the CTP to give...

Linerize or not to Linerize plates... that is the question

Just going out on a limb here. I am assuming that both CTP´s are the same model with the same specs, one thing I would check is the focus.

Linerize or not to Linerize plates... that is the question

Agree, for most part the plates out of a modern CTP´s are linear, however having said that you would still need to keep a platereading eye on them to be sure that they stay that way, if there is deviation then there could be something dicky with the CTP.

OOOooo! Hafta have a closer look at that book. All the same your theory is as valid as mine I just find it fascinating to go diving in a sea that is perceived as blue on the surface and green just under this thinest of thin membranes, also that if the lens of the eye is removed humans are quite...

    What colors do you see?

A quite fascinating topic, especially if you remember that as a trichromatic male you are most likely to see three base colours unless you are the one if five with a diminished red-green vision. Or that as a female you are most likely to be a tetrachromat with the ability to distinguish four...

    Different Flexo Imagesetters

The first time I saw an Amsky was at DRUPA before last and to tell the truth I was not impressed, it had the look and feel of a 1970ties Fiat, tinny and a bit wobbly, also the drum looked crude and almost unfinished with a pronounced seam running lengthways. It seems they have now gotten their...
