    Are you using the Creo RIP ? With the creo I had an isue were the "Print grays using black toner" was the culprit. Also with the Creo, I find that sometime deleting my calibration in the resource center makes a difference.

    What I would do is use Pitstop to remove the unwanted text in the PDF, place the PDF in Indesign and use XMPIE or Darwin to make my variable, works every time.

    Epson GS6000, Super quality, low cost of ownership (comes with the RIP software), dose not require ventilation. On the minus side its Eco-Solvent, and dose not last as long a solvent on the outside IF its not laminated.

    What are the values you input in the Imposition / Spacing & marks ? I put .25" in the margins and gutter and I never saw this problem.

    I always use the "Exceptions" chose type "Inserts" after ... or you could use in the "Finishing" section "Slip Sheet"
