If there is a crop box in a pdf file with say 4 pages. And I send this file for offset printing, what box/size will the imposition software (preps or other) pick up for imposition / printing /offset plate? crop box or media box? And, is media box always equal or larger than crop box?

Thanks DeltaE. We are looking for offline equipment i.e not a part of or attached to an offset. How is drip off achieved? To achieve a different texture what changes are needed in an offline machine. I am a newbie.

I also see your covers have waves. Covers should be flat. Scoring the spine and hinge about 6mm improves quality greatly.

Thanks Ifelton Another foiling person told me that cylinder foiling machines like converted Heidelberg are more forgiving than flat bed because contact area between die and substrate is less at any given moment. Anyone having this experience? ​​​​​​I am waiting for more foils.
