    New Ricoh Pro c7500 launches

I was happy with the UI on the 7100, then they introduced the new UI with the 7200 and it is a pain to have to login to get anything done, now it sounds like they have made it even worse with the 7500. This is what happens when engineering does not go out in the field and talk to customers...

    New Ricoh Pro c7500 launches

90% of what I print is VD so I will hold off on the 7500.

Mailing software: Alternative to the Big Blue Company?

@gregbatch As you already know, your options are getting smaller everyday. As of right now your two options are Bluecrest (bcc) or Accuzip for mailing software unless you want to code your own and use an API for background processes (that opens the door to more). I wish I had better news for...

I would chime in but it would be a guess without seeing a scan of the mailpiece.

What are your space limitations? Do you need to do flats?

    New Ricoh Pro C9500

That would be nice to not have to run 31 sheets for dbl sided registration, but thankfully I only have to run it on new stock once, usually holds registration if I use the same drawer.

New Ricoh C7100x page count issue

OP was last seen in 2017 so you might be talking to a wall. It would be best to start a new topic on your issue.

    Uchida aerocut X pro

Have you looked at graphic whizard? I have run their SCC's for years and overall they are solid machines and will come in cheaper than Duplo and you should be able to get service on them.

    The Job Application

When I say it is on the press I mean the work order is sitting on the press along with the others waiting to be done.

    Ricoh Pro C7500 vs C7200X

Did you make an account just to complain about the 7200? Sure seems like it. Yours seems abnormal and I would kick it up the chain to Ricoh corporate to get it fixed.

    New Ricoh Pro c7500 launches

Just like computers got faster and cheaper the same will be for inkjets. Once they figure out the printing on Coated materials it will be game on. Being able to print edge to edge on cutsheet will make things interesting just like it did for envelopes. Not having to upsize some sheet sizes...

    New Ricoh Pro c7500 launches

Canon rep was mum about details on it so I don't have any links. I am sure they will release something right before PU.

    New Ricoh Pro c7500 launches

I am holding off on getting a 7500 till after PU, I want to see this new cutsheet inkjet that Canon is teasing about releasing there.

    Ijet color 1175

@jwheeler Printing United is right around the corner, I would wait to see what is released before making any decisions. I am still waiting on the new HP FI-1000 head inkjets to be released before upgrading from my memjet. Plenty of profit margin in inkjets, with the cost per print varying...

Recieved an insane quote for Formax ColorMax8 parts

I just had to replace the exit conveyor on mine, not a cheap fix either as you have to buy the entire assembly unless you have the Jig to fix individual parts (jig is around same price as new assembly). Parts for these machines is not cheap since they are for production. Mine has well over a...
