I use Digi-M envelopes from WSEL for inkjet jobs that need to have higher quality graphics. https://www.wsel.com/digi-m

    Toner "bursts"

Static was what was causing the issue when I had it printing in the Winter time, but I also saw it with a bad charge roller on my Black. I have only seen this on my 7110sx, I have not had it on the 7200. What is your tech saying about it?

You will need to clean out the entire system if it has contaminated it.

    Ricoh 7110 Toner Cartridge issue

I have not had this issue in years but will keep an eye out. Once they updated my 7110 to the newer duck bill the issue went away. I just did put a black toner in this morning with no issues (majority of what we do on the 7110 now) but will keep an eye out for the CYM.

Ink Jet Printer for larger envelopes (9x12)

That is a "fancy envelope printer". Sounds like you need to outsource to someone who has full bleed inkjet capabilities for small volume work.

Microsoft Publisher No Longer Supported After Oct 2026

Who knows what the printing industry is going to look like in 2026. AI enabled printers will do the design work and then spit out the artwork to both digital and paper if you are rich enough to afford paper.

What Kind of Folder Would You Recommend?

BTW, if your newsletters are over 4oz you will REALLY want to get this in place before the July 15th rate change (folding to FSM), if you are mailing flats over 4oz you will see a 20%+ increase in postage costs with this rate change.

What Kind of Folder Would You Recommend?

If you are folding thicker newsletters you will want to look at a knife folder to get that crisp fold to 5.5 x 8.5, it will help when it runs through the tabber.

If he updates the fiery make sure to back it up beforehand.

Bizarre issue with Ricoh flipping every fourth page 180 degrees

Have the tech backup the Printer to a usb drive and then do a factory reset and see if it still does it. If it does still do it then reinstall the backup.

Choice of machine Xeros V180, Ricoh 5310, or which other? C7200?

Keep an eye on Drupa releases before making any decisions. Ask around to your fellow printers in Spain and see how the service is, each of the vendors should be able to give you local references, if they can't I would take them off my list. As for the 5300 vs 7200, the 7200 series wins hands...

Need Assistance Picking a New Press

The 7200 will run #10 envelopes flap closed, they will have a slight refold at the end but I got mine down to where it is barely noticable. As mentioned check to see who has LOCAL service, that is #1. Most of these boxes can print pretty good these days. With what is happening at Xerox I...

I don't particularly love printing, but I love helping people achieve their desired results from using printing.

Ink Jet Printer for larger envelopes (9x12)

Guessing the OP means to say Full Bleed? The 7200 should do just fine with 9x12's, you might need to change between catalog and booklet but as long as you are not looking for full bleed it should be doing just fine. Full bleed you will need an envelope inkjet like the one previously mentioned.
